Supervision · Hove

Supervision for
therapists.

Individual clinical supervision for trainee and qualified therapists, drawing on a psychodynamic approach and SAP training. Based in Hove, accessible from across Brighton & Hove.

Thoughtful supervision for complex work.

Good supervision is more than case management. It is a space to think carefully about what is happening between therapist and patient, the conscious and unconscious dynamics, the countertransference, the moments that stay with you after the session ends.

I offer individual supervision that takes all of this seriously, drawing on my experience as a practising psychotherapist and qualified supervisor.

My Approach

A psychodynamic, relational approach.

I trained as a supervisor through the Society of Analytic Psychology (SAP), a Jungian-oriented institute. This has shaped a psychodynamic approach to supervision that pays close attention to the relational field, what is being created between therapist and client, and what that might tell us.

I work collaboratively, exploring the experience of both therapist and patient as they create the treatment together. Supervision with me is a thinking space, not an evaluative one.

Trainee and qualified therapists.

I supervise both trainee therapists fulfilling a training requirement and qualified therapists seeking ongoing supervision. I am experienced in supervising work with a wide range of presentations.
